Received a query via email this week asking for details about the 3 Monkeys “Mr. Stoner” amp for sale in New Zealand. The WHAT? See, we never built any such amplifier, nor have we ever conversed with “Mr. Stoner”.
Yet here it is in full color. Someone has made a fake 3 Monkeys amplifier. Well, at least they gave us credit on the back panel… Buyer beware!!
Glen at Custom Amp Covers sent us a photo of himself starting on a run of our head covers. To quote Glen “proper attire required!”, as he sports a new 3 Monkeys shirt, available for purchase right here on our webstore.
Premier Guitar has just uploaded an extensive video of Walter Becker’s (of Steely Dan) touring gear. Walter uses a plethora of amps including a 3 Monkeys Virgil (seen here in Surf Green), which makes it’s appearance @13:42.
Watch the video of Walter’s touring gear featuring our friends Dave Rule and NiteBob.
Received a photo of Brad’s current Aerosmith touring rig today. He’s rocking a Virgil and a Grease Monkey II, as well as the custom made drink/pick holder (center) we made him a few weeks ago. He’ll also be taking this rig to Japan in Nov/Dec.
I’ve added preliminary info on the new Sock Monkey and Zé amp models. We hope to have these in production by the end of the year. Enjoy the photos.
SEGAS took a lot of energy out of us (that’s a bunch of amps in the booth). But, info on the new 3 Monkeys models will be up on the site in a few days.
I plan on getting the amps in for some photos tomorrow. We will work on costing out and getting pricing up as well.
Thanks to everyone that came out and made the SEGAS show a great success for 3 Monkeys.
Brad, Harrison, Ossie and Greg had a great time meeting and talking to some many cool people.
The clinic at SEGAS was a tremendous success, and we ended up going over our allotted time!! They had to throw us out of the room!! Brad’s gone, but you can still come by the booth today between 10-4pm and see Greg and Ossie.
I know you shouldn’t wear white after Labor Day, but this looks too cool…
I nicknamed it “White Devil, White Devil” (obscure movie reference). Be sure to come to the show this weekend to check it out out. Details here. And be sure not to miss our clinic with fellow monkey Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford.
Here’s another photo of an amp we’re working on for the Southeast Guitar and Amp Show this weekend Sept 24th and 25th at the Raleigh Convention Center.
A new smaller combo? “That little guy? I wouldn’t worry about that little guy.” Be sure to come to the show this weekend to find out. Details here. And don’t miss our clinic with fellow monkey Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford.
